Registering as a Personal Assistant (PA)

paFinder – what is it?

paFinder is a register that prospective employers can use to find a suitable PA (Personal Assistant). The register is not an agency; we do not make any recommendations and we do not employ staff - we only make information available.

How do I register?

Click here to complete your profile online. If you only have limited access to the internet, contact the RUILS office on 020 8831 6084 and we will arrange a time for you to come in to our office to complete it or you can download the form here and send it in to us.

Once we have your registration details we will get in contact with you and will invite you in to meet with us. We will give you more information about Independent Living, Direct Payments and being a PA. We will chat to you about your experience, skills and will tell you more about the roles that we have available.

If you are still interested and we feel that you are a suitable candidate, then your details will become available on our site.

You will be able to:

Update your profile as your availability changes
search & apply for jobs that you are interested in
get information from us about jobs that we think that you will be suitable for.

If the prospective employer would like to meet with you, they will contact you directly and arrange an interview to find out more about the role.

If you are offered the job and you accept it, then we play no further part in the process.

Your employer will be responsible for setting up your employment contract and arranging payroll. Any queries or problems you have regarding your employment must be directed to your employer.
