Some individuals use their Direct Payment to purchase short breaks. This is often called Respite. In this section we feature a few options for you to consider when looking at a short break for yourself or for someone that you care for. (Please note that RUILS has not vetted these providers and does not recommend them. Details are for information purposes only).

Supported holidays for people with learning difficulties, cognitive disabilities and or intellectual disabilities.
1. Go Provence - www.goprovence.co.uk
They provide activity holidays for people with learning disabilities. They run these in Quinson, a small, medieval, Provencal village. Individuals can sam local food,  the blue skies, the landscape, the beautiful rolling views, the relaxed atmosphere, the nature, the quiet roads, the peace, and the sweet Provencal air.  Go to their website or call Ian on ian@goprovence.co.uk.

2. Jolly Days - Supported Holidays www.jollydaysholidays.co.uk
Jolly Days provide supported holiday for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
