Activity Details

Ruils Creative Writing Group is made up of a diverse mix of people who share a love of a story, whether through the art form of a novel, or a play monologue or poetry. Consistent feedback from the group tell us that it gives them a purpose, it makes them think, and at other times it makes them laugh along with their fellow group members. There is also collaboration with our drama group and we hope that some interesting work will emerge between members of the two groups.

sessions take place every other Tuesday, starting 11th of January, at the Twickenham Age UK Wellbeing Centre and on Zoom between 3:00-4:30pm.

(Sessions are currently on Zoom only until the end of January, more information to follow soon)

Group is now meeting online via Zoom, email for further details.

Your Say is an informal collaboration of social care service users. It's an open, friendly consultation group which is run by its members. Each month we focus on a particular issue e.g. PIP Assessments, changes to services, budget cuts. We also provide a safe and confidential space for members to raise and discuss their own issues. The group aims to campaign for the rights of themselves and other service users ensuring the voices of those with disabilities are heard. We meet the last Thursday of the month.
