Navigating the SEND system alone? Need support and advice?

Family Matters is a service for parents in Richmond and Hounslow that provides practical support, advice and information to families with Disabled children and/or young people with additional needs. We will help you navigate difficult circumstances and support you to come up with solutions through:

  • 1-2-1 meetings with an advisor who will listen to and work with you to address your needs
  • Information on activities, services & behaviour strategies
  • Online and in-person workshops on common issues/topics

We will support you to:

  • Share your worries and experiences in a non-judgmental setting
  • Identify what is working and what is not working
  • Focus on areas of family life that you find challenging and will work with you to identify steps to address some of these difficulties
  • Access information on activities and services

Referral Form

To make a referral to our Family Matters service or to self refer to the service please complete our referral form and send to the team.

Please note that Family Matters is a term time only service.

Any referrals made in the school holidays will not be reviewed until term time resumes.
