Who is in your corner?

We don’t like to think about a time in our life when we won’t be in control of our finances or health and social care. However, 1 in 3 of us will need long-term care in later life and if you do lose the capacity to make decisions, you will need someone you really trust to make those decisions on your behalf. Having a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows you to choose who will make those decisions for you.

If you lose your mental capacity and an LPA isn’t in place, then an application needs to be made to the Court of Protection. You can’t choose your attorney and the process of appointing one can be a lengthy and a very costly process for you and your family during an already distressing time.

At Ruils we have teamed up with Wright Wills, a local organisation specialising in Wills and LPAs, to help you to get the right documents in place.

Typically, drafting LPAs would cost between £595 for a single person and £895 for a couple, but Wright Wills are offering Ruils clients and supporters a special rate to draft these documents of £395 for a single person and £595 for a couple. All you need to do is contact them at info@wrightwills.com or call James on 0208 6190358 or 07814 520522 and use the discount code RUILS-2022.
